Wednesday afternoon Lincoln and Pinckney met to decide the season series, which was tied 1-1. Lincoln dominated the Pirates from the first at bat, winning 11-0 in five innings.
In the first inning Lincoln sent 11 men to the plate scoring five runs on three hits. Dylan Thompson, Cade Rickman, and Kyjuan Rice all had RBI in the inning.
In the third inning, Lincoln sent 8 more men to the plate, and put up four runs. Rice, Jion Thomas, Javian Davis, and Ethan Rose all had RBI.
The fourth inning saw Thomas with an RBI and 8 men to the dish which produced two runs.
Davis dominated on the mound throwing a complete game shut out. He scattered five hits and struck out four.
The player of the game was Jion Thomas. He went 2-3 with 2 RBI, 2 R and made an amazing defensive assist from left field to preserve the shut out.
