On a cool clear day at Railsplitter field, the defense failed behind starting pitcher Dylan Thompson.
The Railsplitters took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third when Kyjuan Rice and Javian Davis had back to back doubles. With runners on second and third, Ethan Rose roped a sharp single to left center driving in both Rice and Davis.
In the top of the fourth the wheels fell off. The Indians sent seven batters to the plate and scored 3 runs on 3 hits. They would tack on two insurance runs in the fifth.
The Railsplitters fall to 3 and 3 on the season and 0 and 3 in SEC play. They take the field again on Saturday against Allen Park at home.
