Splitters Win: 13 - 1
An 11-run third inning led the Splitter Nation varsity softball team to a 13-1 victory over AA Huron in game one of the SEC crossover doubleheader. Big bats in the inning were led by singles by Kiley Lewandowski, Cassidy Kane, Madison Cunningham, Aubrie Lafferty, and Harper Crews and doubles by McKenna Johnson and Jenna Gould. Senior pitcher, Jenna Gould, earned the win in the pitchers circle. She allowed three hits and one run over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one batter. Cassidy Kane threw one and one-third innings in relief.

Kaylee Hotchkiss could not be denied at the plate, picking up four hits and leading the team to a 14-2 win over Adrian in game two of the SEC doubleheader. The offensive effort was led by Hotchkiss, Cassidy Kane and Caitlyn Popp who all drove in runs.  Cassidy Kane earned the win in the circle, pitching seven innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out seven.

Junior 3B, Cassidy Kane, was clutch at the plate with runners on base in game one of the SEC doubleheader at Adrian, driving in four runs on three hits to lead the team past Adrian 13-1. Senior pitcher, Jenna Gould, earned the win in the circle for the team allowing three hits and one run over five innings, striking out 11 and walking ZERO.

Senior pitcher, Jenna Gould, didn't allow a single run against Saline, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Lincoln to a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. Gould earned the victory on the rubber for Lincoln, she lasted seven innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out four. Offensively, Harper Crews, Kaylee Hotchkiss, Jenna Gould, McKenna Johnson, Cassidy Kane, and Kiley Lewandowski all collected one hit each.

Kaylee Hotchkiss wasted no opportunities at the plate on Monday during game two of the SEC doubleheader against Jackson, driving in four runs on two hits- highlighted by her first career GRAND SLAM in the fifth inning.  Aubrie Lafferty picked up the win for the team in the pitchers circle with an incredible game. She pitched five innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out seven Viking batters.  Offensively, the Railsplitters collected 11 hits in game two. Madison Cunningham, Kaylee Hotchkiss, Aubrie Lafferty, Lauren Snyder, and McKenna Johnson all managed multiple hits with two each!

Splitters Win: 18 - 1
17 runs in the sixth inning led Lincoln past Jackson 18-1 on Monday in game one of the SEC DH showdown. The incredible offensive performance was led by Madison Williams, Harper Crews, Kiley Lewandowski, McKenna Johnson, Lauren Snyder, and Aubrie Lafferty- who all sent runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  Jenna Gould was outstanding in the pitchers circle and earned the win for her team after throwing six innings with one hit and one run allowed, striking out ten batters and walking ZERO! Kiley Lewandowski hit a 2-run homerun in the sixth, her third on the season.

Splitters Win: 16 - 6
Kiley Lewandowski was bad news for opposing pitchers on Satuday, driving in four runs on three hits to lead Lincoln past Frinklin 16-6. Lewandowski drove in runs on a double in the first, a single in the second, and a single in the third.  The second inning was big for the Railsplitters. The team was lead by singles by Kiley Lewandoswki and Cassidy Kane, dobles by Aubrie Lafferty and Jenna Gould, and a RBI scoring groudout by Lauren Snyder.  Senior pitcher, Caitlyn Popp earned the win in the circle for Lincoln. She surrendered three runs on five hits over two and teo-thirds innings, striking out three and walking zero batters! Offensively, Lincoln saw the ball well as they racked up 15 hits on the day! Kaylee Hotchkiss, Kiley Lewandowski, Madison Cunningham, Harper Crews and Cassidy Kane all managed multiple hits for the team. Kiley Lewandowski and Kaylee Hotchkiss lead the team with three hits each.

Splitter Nation junior, Cassidy Kane wasted no opportunities at the plate on Saturday, driving in four runs on two hits to lead the team past Fenton 12-1.  Offensively, the Railsplitters got things started in the first inning when Kane doubled on the first pitch of her at bat, scring three runs. The team tallied 15 hits during the game. Harper Crews, Jenna Gould, Lauren Snyder, Cassidy Kane, and Kiley Lewandowski all had multiple hits for their team. Jenna Gould and Harper Crews each had 3 hits to lead the team offensively.  On the mound, Cassidy Kane picked up the win after allowing just four hits and one run over five innings, striking out six and walking zero batters!

The Railsplitters saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Madison Cunningham, Lauren Snyder, and Kiley Lewandowski each managed multiple hits for Lincoln with two each!

Lincoln watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-1 loss to Dundee on Thursday during game one of the non-conference doubleheader.  The Railsplitters struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Dundee, giving up 11 runs. Junior pitcher, Aubrie Lafferty, toed the rubber for Lincoln. She allowed three hits and eight runs over two innings, striking out one. Senior pitcher, Caitlyn Popp, threw two innings in relief. Harper Crews, Madison Williams, Kaylee Hotchkiss, and Kiley Lewandowski, all had one hit to lead the Railsplitters offensively.

In game two against Pinckney, Lincoln got things started in the first inning when Kiley Lewandowski doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run. Cassidy Kane was the winning pitcher for the Railsplitters. She surrendered two runs on three hits over seven innings, striking out six. Lincoln tallied one home run on the day. Freshman McKenna Johnson hit her first high school homerun in the fifth inning. Overall, the Railsplitters tallied eight hits during the game. McKenna Johnson, Cassidy Kane, and Kaylee Hotchkiss each collected multiple hits - Hotchkiss, Kane and Johnson all had two hits to lead the team offensively for game two.

Senior pitcher, Jenna Gould, threw a gem on Monday in game one of the SEC white showdown, allowing zero runs and besting Pinckney by a score of 7-0. She went seven innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out nine and walking zero. Lincoln scored three runs in the fifth inning. Big bats in the inning were led by Aubrie Lafferty, Hanna Freshcorn and Cassidy Kane. The Railsplitters racked up nine hits. Madison Williams, Jenna Gould, and Kaylee Hotchkiss each had multiple hits. Hotchkiss, Gould, and Williams each collected two hits to lead the team offensively. Madison Williams was effieient on the bases, with two stolen bases.

The ladies of Splitter Nation defeated Skyline in the SEC conference game of the doubleheader by a score of 15-9 thanks to a strong start. Lincoln scored on a single by Madison Williams, a walk by Jenna Gould, and a single by Harper Crews in the second inning. Offensively, Lincoln tallied six runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Lauren Snyder and Harper Crews, a fielder's choice by Madison Williams, and a double by McKenna Johnson. In the pitching circle, Aubrie Lafferty led the team to victory on the rubber. She lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and seven runs while striking out four and walking one. Lincoln collected 14 hits on the day. Harper Crews, McKenna Johnson, and Lauren Snyder each had multiple hits for the team. Harper Crews went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Lincoln offensively for game one.

Offensively, Lincoln was red hot in the batters box during game two of the SEC showdown. The Splitter Nation ladies tallied eight runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was driven by singles by Madison Williams, Jenna Gould, Harper Crews, and Kaylee Hotchkiss and a home run by Kaylee Hotchkiss.  Jenna Gould was the winning pitcher for for the Railsplitters. She pitched six innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out five and walking zero. Lincoln smacked three home runs on the day. Kaylee Hotchkiss went yard in the sixth inning. Aubrie Lafferty and Madison Williams hit back-to-back homeruns in the fourth inning.  The Railsplitters tallied 16 hits in the game. Jenna Gould, Harper Crews, Kaylee Hotchkiss, Kiley Lewandowski, Aubrie Lafferty, and Madison Williams all had multiple hits for the team. Jenna Gould led the team with three hits in five at bats.

Splitters Lose: 9 - 10
It came down to the last play, but the Railsplitters was on the wrong end of a 10-9 defeat to Tecumseh on Monday. Game one was tied at nine with Tecumseh batting in the bottom of the seventh when an error scored the game-winning for the Indians. Lincoln trailed by five runs in the third inning, but then fought back to lower the final margin. The team scored eight runs in the failed comeback on a single by Harper Crews in the fifth, a single by Kaylee Hotchkiss in the fifth, a double by Cassidy Kane in the fifth, a groundout by Lauren Snyder in the fifth, a fielder's choice by Jenna Gould in the sixth, a double by Kaylee Hotchkiss in the seventh, and a groundout by Cassidy Kane in the seventh. Kane took the loss for the Railsplitters. She allowed nine hits and ten runs over six and a third innings, striking out four. Offensively, Lincoln racked up 11 hits in the game. Lauren Snyder, Kaylee Hotchkiss, Madison Cunningham and Cassidy Kane all collected multiple hits. Cassidy Kane, Madison Cunningham and Lauren Snyder each managed two hits to lead the team.

Splitters Win: 10 - 4
Lincoln claimed a 10-4 victory on Wednesday in game 2, despite a big push by Milan in the third inning.  The Railsplitters got on the board in the first inning.  Kaylee Hotchkiss singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.  The team then put up four runs in the fourth inning.  Hotchkiss, Cassidy Kane, and Lauren Snyder all contributed in the big inning with RBIs. Kane pitched her team to victory. She went three innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out four.  Aubrie Lafferty threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Lincoln racked up nine hits on the day.  Hotchkiss, Jenna Gould, and Kane each managed multiple hits.  Hotchkiss went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the team in hits. Defensively, Lincoln didn't commit a single error in the field. Kiley Lewandowski had six chances in the field, the most on the team.

The varsity softball team snatched the lead late in the game in a 13-7 victory over Milan on Wednesday.  The game was tied at seven with Lincoln batting in the bottom of the fifth when Madison Cunningham doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Bats blistered as the Railsplitters collected 15 hits and Milan tallied seven in the high-scoring game. Jenna Gould earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for Lincoln. She allowed seven hits and seven runs over four and a third innings, striking out two.  Cassidy Kane threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Lincoln launched three home runs on the day. Kiley Lewandowski went deep in the fourth and fifth innings. Lauren Snyder had a long ball in the fourth inning. On the day, the Railsplitters tallied 15 hits.  Kaylee Hotchkiss, Lewandowski, Cunningham, Kane, Snyder, and McKenna Johnson all managed multiple hits for their team.  Lewandowski and Hotchkiss each had three hits to lead Lincoln offensively.
