Boys JV Soccer vs. Huron High School

Splitters Lose: 0 - 4
Boys started extremely slow in the first half and allowed a cheap goal. Even though we started slow in the first half we were still able to control the game but we played one dimensional Second half of the game the boys woke up and handled Huron with high pressure and playing through the thirds while moving the ball from left to right and right to left. We just made silly mistakes that allowed Huron to score.
The boys are coming together and playing some good score lets keep it up!!

Splitters Lose: 1 - 1
The boys are playing great soccer and dominated Chelsea with over 250 passes and 15 shots on goal. The team was using the whole field playing back then hitting our outside players. We made a silly mistake which allowed Chelsea to score. The boys forced Chelsea to play on half a field which was what we wanted. Lets keep up this play!

Splitters Lose: 0 - 6
Boys started very slow and during the whole first half could get nothing going. Second half the boys came out and played much better. It was great for the boys to see how Ann Arbor moved the ball with a lot of 3 touch.

Splitters Win: 8 - 0
Boys had a great mix of playing possession and attacking open spaces. In the first half we were rushing our shots and kicking the ball at the goalie. Second half we started to settle down and kicked the ball in the corners. Great way to start league play of with a win!

Splitters Lose: 0 - 4
The boys played very well with possession and finding options to combine with one another. We had numerous scoring chances but failed to capitalize on our chances. We forced Mevindale to play kickball and get away from the possession style in which they payed. Sadly we gave up three really bad goals but the boys bounced back and had great scoring chances immediately following those goals.

Melvindale had one of the most impressive teams that I have seen in a while. The goalie for Melvindale was very aggressive coming out of the box and we failed to change direction and adjust our through balls to wide positions. We did not play through the thirds and we could not keep possession as Melvindale was high tempo the entire game while playing through the thirds.

The team played well had over 20 shots and 200 passes. The team had a nice mix of possession and attacking play
