JV softball wins game two against Monroe.
The ladies came roaring back in game two with the first six batters all getting hits and scoring three runs. Monroe scored one run in the second but the splitters had an explosive third inning scoring nine runs making it a 12-1 game. Monroe scored two in the third but Lincoln shut them down the rest of the game. The ladies added another run in the fourth bringing the final score to 13-3.
Lacey Linne and Katheryn Sanchez both went three for four combining for five RBIs.
Taylor Coon went three for three with a walk and driving in three runs. Grace Becker, Gracie Watson and Alivia Brooks all had an RBI as well. It was a real team effort. Paige Cunningham went three for three plus a walk and crossed the plate three times.
The ladies racked up eighteen hits off two pitchers.
Lacey Linne pitched striking out four, giving up no walks and allowing six hits. A very solid game for the splitters.
