Game two was the mirror image of game one for Railsplitters. They dominated Pinckney from the first inning and won, 10-1. In the first inning Lincoln sent nine batters to the plate and ambushed the Pirates with 5 runs. In the third inning Lincoln sent another nine batters to the plate and scored another five runs.
The story of this game was Dylan Thompson. He threw a one hitter and shut down the potent Pinckney offense. Thompson struck out five and was named player of the game.
Jion Thomas also gets an honorable mention going 2-2 with 3 RBI.
